Available Opportunities
SBA employs a variety of team members who work together to provide an outstanding Christ-centered education and boarding experience. We are currently looking to fill the following positions.
Industrial Arts Teacher. The Industrial Arts teacher teaches students in grades 9-12. Sunshine Bible Academy currently offers Building Trades, Woodworking, Automotive Mechanics, Welding, Computer-Aided Drafting and Drones as IA classes, though the opportunity for additional options exists depending on the experience and qualifications of the individual hired. Director of Food Service. This individual will oversee, and be an active part of, the daily operation and coordination of the kitchen and dining hall, including food preparation, service and cleaning of the kitchen and dining facilities, for daily meals and special events.
Kitchen Staff. This position requires assisting with the preparation and serving of food for daily meals and special events and with the cleaning of the kitchen and dining facilities.
Boys’ Dorm Supervisor. The resident supervisor (RS) position at Sunshine Bible Academy plays an important role in the mission of the school. SBA offers a unique opportunity for students to develop life-long relationships and learn from other students and staff through the boarding experience. When the academic day ends until school resumes the following day, the RS will be responsible for supervising, counseling, encouraging students in their studies, mentoring and disciplining students. Life in the dorm sets the tone for the entire ministry and needs to be a haven of security where every student has a sense of belonging. The RS functions as a “proxy parent” for the students who board at the school.
