Wes McClure

Head of School

As Head of School, Wes provides visionary leadership for Sunshine Bible Academy, overseeing all academic programs, campus operations, and the spiritual mission that defines SBA’s commitment to Christ-centered education.

Jason Watson

Academic Dean

As Academic Dean, Jason provides and maintains curriculum standards, supports and evaluates faculty, and works closely with the head of school to ensure SBA’s academic program meets the diverse needs of the student body and challenges each student to pursue academic excellence.

Jason Burma

Dean of Students, Ag Teacher/FFA Advisor, Head Wrestling Coach

Jason Burma serves as Dean of Students and leads SBA’s agriculture program and FFA chapter — the only FFA chapter at a Christian school in South Dakota. He also coaches wrestling, helping student-athletes grow in discipline and character.

Joie VanHolstyn

Director of Enrollment and Marketing

As Director of Enrollment and Marketing, Joie VanHolstyn welcomes prospective families and leads SBA’s admissions and storytelling work. She also teaches world history.

Greg Pedersen

Athletic Director

As Athletic Director, Greg Pedersen oversees SBA’s athletic programs, coaching, and student-athlete development. He also teaches math and science and coaches cross country and girls’ track.
